Veerlaan, Katendrechtsestraat
This new urban block with 26 townhouses respects the authentic architecture of the 19th century historic centre of Katendrecht with its white concrete plinth that folds around the entrances, and the different concrete eaves at the top. Moreover the floor heights vary and every two or three houses are bound together by the same brick.
The white house at the Veerlaan refers to a demolished original residence. The tiny house on top of the cornerhouse shows an exception to the rule, as is always present in lived-in neighbourhoods.
